Hello,
Let me introduce myself. I am a Flemish multimedia designer and this is my personal showroom. Here you can find lots of different designs, pictures and drawings I made over the years. Together they present an artistic growing process that became an alter ego. That alter ego has a name:

Xantifee = xantip pe  v {-s} helleveeg (Shrew) + fee v {-ën} tovergodin (fairy)

Out of many years active participation to several youth workshops in the academy, I developed a passion for the visual image, so nobody was surprised when at the age of 12 I choose a graphic education (1995-2001 ‘VISO’ in Mariakerke). Parallel with the compelled daytime classes I also did a part-time course ‘graphical shaping/model drawing’ (1997 – 2000 ‘Sint-Lucas’ in Gent).

With this extensive foundation I started a higher education in witch was room for creativity and experiment (2001-2006 ‘Sint-Lucas’ in Gent). It was a time of self-development with professional guidance that resulted in a Master diploma.

In 2005 I travelled to Finland and lived there for 5 months. I enriched myself from the fantastic design culture of this beautiful country. Within Lahden Ammattikorkeakoulu (Lahti University of applied sciences, Institute of design) I got to know 3D modelling and animation. I did a intensive course that confiscated 2 months. 3D still fascinates me and I try by means of self-education to refine this knowledge.

Today _since October 2006_ I’m a web designer at Markee (an advertising company in Gent) it’s a job that gives me challenging projects but also the space to grow and learn.
